Der Mosquito Ego ist geboren und er besitzt alles, was originellen ÜBERpunk im UNTERgrund ausmacht! Coolness, Ironie und un-verklemmten Humor. Loveboat? Cuntboat! Arty Farty Cyberpunk! Sehr seltsame Texte, die passend zur Musik eine futuristische Stimmung erzeugen.
Nach der Debut EP „Is There Much Kaput?“ folgte eine Split 7“ E.P. mit „Die Säulen des Kosmos“ (ein ElektroPostPunk / Performance Duo mit Flavio Bacon von HUMAN ABFALL). Der erste Long Player steht nun in den Startlöchern und wartet schon sehnsüchtig auf den Release-Termin.
Euch erwartet eine krass-spaßige Mischung aus Big Black, Devo, den Butthole Surfers und Men's Recovery Project. Einflüsse dazu passen viele: Portwein, Whiskey und Fernet Branca. Mosquito Ego kommen aus dem Schwabenloch Stuttgart und eines ist sicher: Sie werden dir den Saft aus der Rübe schlürfen.

Port Rois started in 2011 as a postpunk project in the vein of Wipers, Hot Snakes and alikes. After the Permanent Midnight 7", an unreleased EP and several line-up changes Raphi and Franky (who started the band in the first place) teamed up with Simon from The Dimensions to write their noise pop debut record which will be released in 2017.
