Thee Irma & Louise + Anaheim
Psychedelic Garage Punk
THEE IRMA & LOUISE have crawled out of the tundras of northwestern Switzerland in 2002, choosing to settle in Berne, city of love and swiss garage punk capital. They have been regular guests in Europe’s most dimly lit basements rooms etc., releasing a bunch of D.I.Y. records along the way. Starting out playing primordial instrumental garage punk, they have since added blues, country, a lot more vocals, and dark psychedelia to their sound, which has been likened to LINK WRAY, THE GUN CLUB or THE BIRTHDAY PARTY.

ANAHEIM are a guitar-banjo-two voices duo, sometimes with a third person sitting in on odds and ends. They hail from Zurich and Berlin and play what they call DOOM GRASS VALIUM COUNTRY FOLK. They have just released their first cassette tape and shared stages with, among others, Rae Spoon and Scout Niblett.

Black Forest Country Punkrock
Dein ist wo der der Beat schlägt und WE ARE geben den Takt vor. Man nehme Schwarzwald, Baar, Schnee und Kirschwasser, und es entsteht nicht etwa ein neuer Dauerbrenner fürs Musikantenstadl, sondern eine Mischung mit geballter Ladung Sprengstoff: Moderner Postpunk mit einer Prise Folk und Black Forest Country Style bringt die Hütten zum Brennen, die Hüften zum Shaken! Eingängig wie melodisch, treibend wie einnehmend und ja verdammt… it´s Rock! Also schmeißt die Seismographen über Bord, stampft die Feuerlöscher ein, denn die Notbremse sucht man bei WE ARE vergeblich.

Deadverse
Deadverse is a four piece group inspired by bands like Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Hüsker Dü, Wipers, Jawbreaker, Hot Snakes or Kommando Sonne-nMilch just to name a few.
Deadverse tries to stay independent in what they do, being it the song writing, or that little mixture you’ve maybe never heard before. Lyrically the band plays on social and political misgivings, and also personal day-to-day situations.

LEO HÖRT RAUSCHEN
Indie-Wave
Vier Männer in Hosen aus Dresden spielen mit verbalen Kopfnüssen und Streicheleinheiten, von Wave-Anleihen getragenen Indie-Rock mit einer Prise Punk. Reduzierte Gitarren, Beats auf den Punkt, Texte zwischen Poesie und Propaganda fügen sich ohne großes Brimborium zu einer erfreulichen Monotonie a la DAF, Joy Divison oder Tocotronic zusammen. Ein oszillierendes Erweckungserlebnis irgendwo zwischen Aufbauen und Abreißen.

Blind Butcher & After Show Party mit DJ Aki Antipop
Country -Disco-Punk
Blind Butcher aus Luzern spielen sich energetisch durch Country, Rock’n’Roll, Disco und Punk. Das Duo besteht aus Christian (Blind Banjo) Aregger, Gitarre, Gesang und Roland Bucher (Oklahoma Butcher), Schlagzeug, Bass Pedale, Gesang. Butcher hätte am liebsten ein zusätzliches paar Arme und Beine und Blind Banjo genug TNT um ein Loch durch den Globus zu sprengen. Manches ist zum Glück besser so wie es ist.

Sound 8 Orchestra
Das Projekt “Sound 8 Orchestra” des Exil-Schweizers, Wahlberliners und Multiinstrumentalisten Matthias Wyder vereint Easy Listening, Low Budget Lounge Musik, Retrofuturistische B-Movie Soundtracks und psychedelische Electrosounds zu einem unglaublichen Klangmix irgendwo zwischen Lee Perry, Add N To X, Sun Ra und James Bond Soundtracks. Live unterstützt von einem Schlagzeuger werden Wyders Keyboardklänge zu Filmen von drei Super 8 Projektoren gespielt, was jedes Mal zu einem audiovisuellen Erlebnis führt.
Das “Sound 8 Orchestra” hat bislang zwei Alben und eine Vinyl Single veröffentlicht . “Golden Memories“ 2007, “Nonstop Dancing“ 2011, “Casio Sound“ Vinyl Single 2013 alle auf Langusta Entertainment
